Aaron Rodgers hasn't been traded to the New York Jets yet, but the longtime Packers quarterback has made his intentions clear: his time in Green Bay is all but over and he intends to play for the Jets in 2023.
Rodgers, who had been again seriously considering retirement prior to going on his darkness retreat last month, made the announcement about planning to play in New York during a Wednesday appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show."
Here's the moment Rodgers revealed his plans.

I'm sure the #Jets are super happy to hear their new high profile QB, until a week or so ago, was 90% certain he was retiring. https://t.co/XjJirCuQDR

He doesn't want to play.
He wants to spite.
That will fuel him for 1 season. Like Favre.
But it won't sustain. https://t.co/TjSIKIifMP— Bruce (@BtotheD) March 15, 2023
It wasn't lost on many that Aaron Rodgers would be playing for Jets owner Woody Johnson, who is the heir to the Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical company (J&J, of course, is also one of the COVID vaccines)
I love that Aaron Rodgers, the biggest critic of Big Pharma in professional sports, came out of the darkness and realized that he wants to work for the billionaire heir to the Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical fortune

McAfee dances around asking Rodgers about Jets owner Woody Johnson being the heir to Johnson & Johnson pharmaceuticals, then finally says "Did you guys get vaccinated together?" lmao

Aaron Rodgers is set to follow the same path as Brett Favre did to the Jets after 15 years in Green Bay. So after a year in New York are the Minnesota Vikings next?
