Aaron Rodgers' reaction to Danny Etling's 51-yard touchdown run is priceless while on the Packers TV Network during preseason game

Not surprisingly, Aaron Rodgers did not play in the Green Bay Packers' preseason game against the New Orleans Saints on Friday night at Lambeau Field.

But the camera always finds the Packers' star quarterback.

And he had one of the more memorable moments during the game from the sideline.

Aaron Rodgers pumped up for Danny Etling's touchdown run while on TV

Rodgers was conducting an interview with the Packers TV Network from the sideline when third-string quarterback Danny Etling broke loose for a 51-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.

The score made it a 20-10 game.

Just seconds before Etling's score, Rodgers was praising the journeyman quarterback and even referenced his 86-yard touchdown run from a preseason game in 2018 when he was a rookie with the New England Patriots.

In that touchdown run with the Patriots, Etling also executed a fake and read the defense perfectly before racing down the sideline for the score. Friday night's run was very similar.

"What did I tell ya, what did I tell ya, what did I tell ya," Rodgers said on air, while throwing his hands in the air with a huge fist pump. "Yeah, baby."

Rodgers' reaction to the score was priceless and that of a proud teammate.

Kevin Harlan, on the TV broadcast, said "Rodgers called it."

In the locker room after the game, Etling, who has spent time with multiple teams' practice squads in his career, was shown video of Rodgers' reaction. Etling couldn't get the smile off his face.

"12's awesome," said Etling, who finished off the touchdown with a Lambeau Leap. "What can I say, it's the magic of 12."

Did Aaron Rodgers get a haircut?

Rodgers' appearance also garnered some attention online.

For the last couple of years, Rodgers has grown out his hair to the point that it flows underneath his helmet, quite the change from his early days in the NFL.

Last season, he even used his new look for his Halloween costume. He famously dressed as Keanu Reeves' professional hitman character John Wick The Boogeyman in the "John Wick" film franchise.

His hair was also brought up as a joke in his appearance on The Manningcast "Monday Night Football" telecast on ESPN last season and was even the subject of a golf bet with NBA legend Charles Barkley during the offseason.

So when Rodgers appeared on the sideline in a Packers baseball cap with a clean shave and what appeared to be a haircut, his look was one of the top search trends from the game. He loves the man-bun so it's likely he just had the hair all wrapped up underneath the hat.

That's our best guess given the work he has put into that new appearance in recent years. But on or off the field, Rodgers gets people talking.
