A new behavioral therapy and early intervention center for children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities, ABA Results, celebrated its grand opening in Gainesville Monday.

The center, located at 3669 SW 2nd Ave., focuses on providing applied behavioral analysis therapy for children between two and five years old.

"We are thrilled to bring our expertise in ABA therapy to the Gainesville community," said Jennifer Andoscia, the founder and CEO of the center. "Our goal is to provide individualized therapy that meets the unique needs of each child we serve, while also supporting families in their journey towards achieving their goals."

The center is outfitted with arts and crafts projects, an indoor swing set and a swamp-themed playroom. Unlike other ABA centers that may have a more clinical feel, ABA Results looks more like a fun preschool, said clinical director Michelle Goike.

ABA Results has provided therapy services to children for over a decade, the center’s first location is in Fort Myers.

The new Gainesville spot will provide diagnostic assessments, therapy and parent training to help children improve their social interactions and learn new skills. The center is now accepting new clients.

"Our team of experienced and highly trained therapists is dedicated to helping children achieve their full potential," said Mrs. Andoscia. "We believe that early intervention is key, and our programs are designed to give children the best possible start in life."
