Abbey Road on the River celebrates 20th anniversary Memorial Day weekend. What to know

For fans of the Beatles, it's nearly time to "Get Back" to Jeffersonville, Indiana. Abbey Road on the River, the world’s largest tribute to The Fab Four, will celebrate its 20th anniversary this year.

Throughout the five-day event, held May 26-30 at The Big Four Station Park, more than 50 bands will perform 200 concerts on six stages. Featured artists include Tommy James and the Shondells, The Cyrkle, and The Fab Four.

Besides back-to-back live music performances, the five-day outdoor event features food, vendors and plenty of room for families to spread out on the Big Four Station lawn. The festival’s two main stages and viewing areas are located beside the park’s expansive all-ages playground.

“We have always been a family event and seeing families of all ages bonding and enjoying the same incredible music is very special,” festival producer Gary Jacob told the Courier Journal. “With the resurgence of post-COVID festivals that we’ve all been waiting for, there is no better time than now to support events and the talented musicians who have waited to perform for all of us.”

The festival will offer free admission for a 20 and under guest with the purchase of a matching adult ticket. Additionally, the event wristbands allow for re-entry so attendees are able to come and go as they please.
