Aberdeen First's Back to Bethlehem is Dec. 4

Aberdeen First United Methodist Church will be holding its annual Back to Bethlehem event on Dec. 4 from 1 to 3 p.m.

People can see animals, listen to live music, drink hot chocolate and walk to Bethlehem streets to visit shops and taste foods they may have had in Jesus' day and make various crafts. There is no charge for the event, which is at the church, 502 S. Lincoln St.

The Apparent Project will also be at the event, which offers education and job skills training to help people rise out of poverty and become leaders in Haiti. The booth will feature Haitian handmade items for sale that support Haitian families.
