Abilene Cooper rolls past Sweetwater in girls soccer

Kayla Dillon, Aaliyah Jackson and Anita Alcantar each had a hat trick and combined for 10 goals as Cooper beat Sweetwater 13-0 in a nondistrict girls soccer game Tuesday at Shotwell Stadium.

Dillon scored four goals and added two assists, while Jackson had three goals and three assists, and Alcantar had three goals as the Lady Cougars improved to 3-2-1 overall.

Aviana Varela had a goal and two assists, while Ariana Sanchez and Lune Finch had a goal each. Mackenzie Ash also had an assist.

Lex McWhorter had the shutout as Class 4A Sweetwater dropped to 0-4.

Dillon and Alcantar scored twice as the Class 5A Lady Coogs rolled to a 7-0 halftime lead.

Cooper plays Abilene High in a nondistrict game at 5 p.m. Friday at Shotwell Stadium.
