All aboard for Ice Cream Nights on summer Wednesdays at Seashore Trolley Museum
KENNEBUNKPORT, Maine — All aboard! Join Seashore Trolley Museum for a fan favorite -- Ice Cream Night! This summer tradition is held every Wednesday in July and August from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Guests are treated to a special evening trolley ride on the museum’s heritage railway through their 350-acre campus and an ice cream sundae with all the fixin's.
Tickets are $10 (children 2 and under are free). Admission includes the trolley ride and ice cream sundae. Trolleys depart at 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m., and 6:30 p.m. Because Ice Cream Night is very popular, guests are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance at icecreamnight.eventbrite.com
If you or a guest in your group have mobility challenges when it comes to navigating steps into the trolleys, Seashore Trolley Museum has a Mobilift to help guests access some of the operating trolleys.
This season, Seashore Trolley Museum is giving back! They have selected nine other local nonprofits who will benefit from Ice Cream Nights in 2022 too. Each nonprofit will receive their own Ice Cream Night event and will receive 50% of all ticket sales; this means that they will receive $5 for every ticket sold to support their mission.
Ice Cream Night Nonprofits will include July 6: Ben's Fight, Inc.; July 13: Kennebunkport Conservation Trust; July 20: Habitat for Humanity York County; July 27: Arundel Historical Society; Aug. 3: Friends of Hope Cemetery & Woods; Aug. 10: Kennebunk Free Library; Aug. 17: The Center (Kennebunk); Aug. 24: Arundel Conservation Trust; Aug. 31: Kennebunkport Parks & Recreation
This event is proudly sponsored by Saco & Biddeford Savings. The Biddeford Wal-Mart is also supporting the event by donating 30 gallons of ice cream.
