Abortion Rights Protesters in Indiana Get Support From Purdue Mascot

Around 400 pro-abortion rights protesters gathered outside the Tippecanoe County Courthouse in Lafayette, Indiana, on June 29, the largest demonstration at the site since the overturning of Roe v Wade last Friday, according to local reports.

The protesters received support from the mascot of the local Purdue University, a vehicle called the Boilermaker Special VII, which sounded its horn, prompting cheers, as it was driven past the demonstration on the courthouse steps. Credit: Steve Records via Storyful
