Absentee ballots available in Stonington for Aug. 9 primary

Jul. 20—STONINGTON — Absentee ballots are now available for the Republican and Democratic primaries.

Ballots may be downloaded on the "Town Clerk" section of the town website, www.stonington-ct.gov, under the heading "Absentee Voting/Absentee Ballot," or voters can request one by phone or in person at Town Hall.

Sample ballots may be viewed on the Aug. 9 calendar on the website's homepage. Anyone with questions can call the town clerk's office at (860) 535-5060.

The polling locations are as follows: District 1, Stonington Borough firehouse; District 2, Pawcatuck Middle School; District 3, St. Michael Church community room, 60 Liberty St., Pawcatuck; District 4, Stonington Middle School and District 5, former School Administration Building, 49 North Stonington Road, Old Mystic.
