ACC men’s basketball tournament bracket is set. Here’s the full schedule, TV info.

The ACC tournament’s return to the Greensboro Coliseum will include a trio of firsts.

For the first time:

Florida State is the No. 1 seed in the ACC tournament.

Either Duke or North Carolina is not one of the top three seeds in the ACC tournament.

UNC is the last-place seed. The Tar Heels (13-18, 6-14) will open the tournament on Tuesday as the No. 14 seed against Virginia Tech (16-15, 7-13).

The field is set for the ACC tournament in Greensboro with the Seminoles (26-5, 16-4 ACC) winning the regular-season for the first time since they joined the conference in 1992.

Virginia (23-7, 15-5), who has won eight straight games, is the No. 2 seed followed by Louisville (24-7, 15-5) at No. 3.

Duke (25-6, 15-5) is the No. 4 seed and will get a double-bye into Thursday’s quarterfinals. Duke finished with the same ACC record as Louisville and Virginia but went 0-2 against them to lose the tiebreaker.

It is the first time since the tournament started in 1954 that Duke, UNC, N.C. State or Wake Forest is not one of the top three seeds in the tournament.

The Wolfpack (19-12, 10-10) secured the No. 5 seed when Syracuse lost at Miami on Saturday. N.C. State will face the winner of Wake Forest-Pittsburgh on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. N.C. State had the same ACC record as Notre Dame and Syracuse but went 2-0 against the Irish and Orange.

UNC finished in a three-way tie with Wake Forest and Pittsburgh but had a 1-3 record against the group. The Demon Deacons (13-17, 6-14) won the tiebreaker in the group and will take on the Panthers (15-16, 6-14) in the first game on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.

Georgia Tech received a postseason ban from the NCAA in November for recruiting violations and its appeal was denied earlier this month. The Yellow Jackets’ absence leaves 14 teams in Greensboro. It is the third time in six years that a conference team has been ineligible for the tournament.

The tournament has been held more times in Greensboro (this is the 27th time) than anywhere else but hasn’t been there since 2015.
