All-ACC team includes 8 players from Florida State

Florida State defensive end Jermaine Johnson II and defensive back Jammie Robinson were among eight Seminoles to earn All-ACC honors Tuesday. The eight standouts were the most by FSU since 2016.

Johnson and Robinson earned first-team honors.

Defensive end Keir Thomas and running back Jashaun Corbin received third-team honors. Offensive linemen Dillan Gibbons and Devontay Love-Taylor and defensive tackles Fabien Lovett and Robert Cooper were honorable mention selections.

Johnson, who leads the ACC in sacks (12) and tackles for loss (18), topped the ballot with 189 votes. Robinson finished the season with a team-high 84 tackles, 4 interceptions and was third on the team in tackles for loss (7). He received 106 votes.

Thomas managed 42 tackles, including 12 for loss and 6.5 sacks in his first season with the Seminoles. The Miami native was a graduate transfer from South Carolina.

Corbin was in his second season at FSU after arriving as a transfer from Texas A&M in 2020. He led the team in rushing yards (887) and rushing touchdowns (7) and his 6.0 yards per carry average was the best in the ACC.

Guard Gibbons and Love-Taylor were part of an offensive line that helped the Seminoles average 177 rushing yards per game. Lovett and Cooper combined for 67 tackles, including 9 for loss and 2 sacks.
