ACC tournament watch: Where things stand with 2 weeks remaining in regular season

The ACC men’s basketball regular season is winding down as it is slated to end two weeks from Saturday.

Louisville currently leads the ACC with a 13-3 record, but Duke and Florida State are tied with the Cardinals in the loss column and are only half a game back at 12-3 in the league.

North Carolina has been the biggest disappointment in the ACC this season as the Tar Heels are last in the league with a 3-12 record with five games remaining.

The ACC tournament will take place March 10-14 in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Here is a look at the seeds and bracket as things currently stand. The official field won’t be set until the weekend prior to the tournament.

First round: Tuesday, March 10

No. 12 Pitt vs. No. 13 Miami, 2 p.m.

No. 10 Boston College vs. No. 15 North Carolina, 4:30 p.m.

No. 11 Virginia Tech vs. No. 14 Wake Forest, 7 p.m.

Second round: Wednesday, March 11

No. 8 Syracuse vs. No. 9 Georgia Tech, Noon

Game 1 winner vs. No. 5 N.C. State, 2 p.m.

Game 2 winner vs. No. 7 Clemson, 7 p.m.

Game 3 winner vs. No. 6 Notre Dame, 9 p.m.

Quarterfinals: Thursday, March 12

No. 1 Louisville vs. Game 4 winner, 12:30 p.m.

No. 4 Virginia vs. Game 5 winner, 2:30 p.m.

No. 2 Duke vs. Game 6 winner, 7 p.m.

No. 3 Florida State vs. Game 7 winner, 9 p.m.

Semifinals: Friday, March 13

Note: Georgia Tech is currently appealing an NCAA postseason ban for this season. The Yellow Jackets are allowed to compete in the postseason while the appeal is ongoing. Georgia Tech could have its appeal denied prior to the start of the ACC tournament, which would make the team ineligible.
