Accident involving a semi-truck creates road blockage in DeKalb County

DEKALB COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – An accident involving a semi-truck has created a road blockage in DeKalb County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

On Wednesday, ALEA responded to a wrecked semi-truck on Alabama 227 near DeKalb County 51.

PPD: Two caught after chase that spanned two counties, multiple accidents

Both lanes of AL 227 are blocked, and will be for an undetermined amount of time.

Troopers are currently at the scene investigating. News 19 will provide updates as they are made available.
