'Accidental' fire: No injuries at LongHorn Steakhouse in Leominster

LEOMINSTER – Firefighters quickly put out a small fire Sunday morning behind the LongHorn Steakhouse on Main Street.

There were no injuries, said Deputy Chief Steve Rowland, who called the fire accidental. The restaurant reopened Sunday after the area where the fire occurred was cleaned up.

“It was a trash fire that extended to the exterior of the building and did not get inside the building,” said Rowland.

More than a dozen firefighters were on the scene at 7:35 a.m. and the fire was extinguished in 30 minutes.
