Accomack County man dies in single-vehicle crash in Snow Hill

An Accomack County died Friday in a single-vehicle crash in Snow Hill, the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office reported.

The accident happened just before midnight Sept. 22 on Bayside Road in the Public Landing area of Snow Hill.

Barry Lee Brooks, 59, of Greenbackville, Virginia, died after his Ford F-150 truck left the roadway and struck a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene, the sheriff’s office said in a release.

Worcester County sheriff’s deputies and Snow Hill Fire Department responded to the accident.

The sheriff’s office Crash Reconstruction Unit is investigating.
