Achievers: OKC Beautiful recognizes individuals and organizations at awards luncheon

During a spring luncheon, OKC Beautiful recognized individuals and groups for their work to create a more beautiful and sustainable community.

This year’s honorees were 84 Hospitality Group, Mayor's Award; Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area Tree Canopy Assessment, President’s Special Recognition Award; Cox Communications, Aubrey McClendon Corporate Award; Robbie Kienzle, Pendleton Woods Lifetime Achievement Award; Metro Park Neighborhood Association, Community Spirit Award; Lillian Timber Farms, Community Spirit Award; Donnie Wilson, Volunteer Spirit Award; and Restore OKC, Visionary Award.

“The results of their efforts foster community pride and contribute to the character and economic viability of the entire metropolitan area,” said Lisa Synar, executive director of OKC Beautiful.
