Two generations of leading women in country music took center stage Thursday night at the ACM Awards.

Trisha Yearwood — a three-time ACM Award winner who earned Female Artist of the Year in 1998 — teamed with reigning Female Artist winner Carly Pearce for a duet medley of big-time hits. The appearance included fan-favorite Yearwood cuts "Wrong Side of Memphis," "XXX's and OOO's (An American Girl)" and "She's In Love With The Boy."

On the collaboration, Pearce told ABC Radio earlier this week: “... [W]e’re going to team up and just have a total ‘girl power Trisha moment,’ which makes my heart so happy.”

And it isn't the first time Pearce and Yearwood shared the stage, of course. Yearwood inducted the Kentucky native into the Grand Ole Opry in August 2021.
