ACPSD registration for the 2023-24 school year is open

Apr. 27—School registration for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year is open in Aiken County.

ACPSD students return to the classroom on July 25 as part of the transition to the modified academic calendar. The school district encourages parents and guardians to register students for school as early as possible.

Parents of new students can visit the school district registration Hub under the About Us tab. Information regarding 5K/Kindergarten and 4K/Pre-Kindergarten can be found at acpsd.net/register.

Parents of returning students can register online through the Powerschool Parent Portal and supply two documents that show proof of residency. The following can be accepted:

—Mortgage contract or statement;

—S.C. driver's license or ID card;

—Property Tax bill or receipt;

—Utility bill, cable/satellite, internet or phone bill;

—Homeowners or renter's insurance policy; or

—Notarized letter from landlord.

All bills must be current, include the parent/guardian name, service address and can be uploaded as a PDF, Word document or as JPG.

In addition, parents registering new students must provide a copy of the student's birth certificate and immunization records.

Registration fees are detailed through the registration portal. A guide for creating an E-Funds for Schools account is available through the website.

Parents should double check the interactive school zone locator as attendance lines have been adjusted with the addition of Highland Springs Middle School.

Parents with additional questions should contact the student's school office.
