Act II’s Cotton Candy-Flavored Popcorn Will Give You All the Carnival Vibes

Christmas came early this year! And by Christmas, we mean Act II’s Llama Party Cotton Candy Popcorn has arrived early. The fun flavor wasn’t supposed to hit shelves until September, but thanks to @sweetstuffmn via @candyhunting, we know that it’s rolling out now.
The carnival-inspired treat pops blue in the microwave, so you’ll have a festive bowl to snack on. Couple the color with the fact that it tastes like cotton candy, and you have a popcorn like no other.
So far, the Act II Llama Party Cotton Candy has been spotted at Walmart, so excuse us while we run (not walk) to the snack aisle.

September seems far away. It might as be the year 2037 as far as we’re concentered. Sadly, we’ll have to somehow manage to live our lives with Act II’s new Llama Party cotton candy-flavored popcorn until September 2020.
If our eyes tell us anything, however, it’ll be well worth the wait to get our hands on popcorn that tastes like a carnival snack. A PR rep with Conagra Brands confirmed to Best Products that the new popcorn, which turns blue when it pops, will be back just as summer ends.
Look, we’re just as upset as you are that we have to wait what seems like an eternity. But we survived the wait for M&M’s Fudge Brownie candies, so we can do anything.

The chances of you having a box of Act II popcorn in your pantry right now are probably pretty high. You never know when you’ll want to have an impromptu movie night, right? Now the brand is coming out with Llama Party popcorn, which is cotton candy-flavored!
The sweet movie theater-approved snack was announced by Conagra Brands at Consumer Analyst Group New York’s conference (CAGNY 2020) in Boca Raton. Since then, Instagram accounts, including @junkfoodmom, @dadbodsnacks, and @snackgator, have posted pictures of Act II’s Llama Party.
According to the packaging, the popcorn tastes like cotton candy. It even looks like a carnival, since the kernels pop to be blue! There are even “llamacorn” tattoos inside the box. They weren’t kidding when they said it’s a llama party! Between the fun color and cotton candy flavor, this treat is sure to give us one tasty sugar rush.
Unfortunately, there isn’t any other information about when the Act II Llama Party Cotton Candy Popcorn will hit shelves. But between the recently launched Hostess Llama CupCakes and Kellogg’s Llama Loops, there’s no denying that llamas are the life of the party.
There are so many different popcorn flavors out there that don’t even need to be tossed in the microwave. There’s a dill pickle popcorn, Cheetos popcorn, Oreo popcorn, and one that we’re anxiously waiting to hit shelves — Cap’n Crunch Berries popcorn. Popcorn for everyone!
