Actor Henry Cavill Just Gave Shawn Mendes a Funny Shoutout For Letting Him "Borrow" Fans

• Henry Cavill ran into some Shawn Mendes fans while visiting Buenos Aires, Argentina.

• Henry took a picture with the fans and gave Shawn a shoutout on Instagram.

Some lucky fans in Buenos Aires, Argentina may have been blessed with a two-for-one special. Fans were gathered outside of Shawn Mendes' hotel when they were surprised by an appearance from Superman himself, Henry Cavill. Henry was in Buenos Aires promoting his new Netflix series, The Witcher, during Argentina ComicCon and it looks like he ended up staying in the same hotel Shawn was at. Shawn was also in Buenos Aires for a tour performance. There's no word on whether Shawn and Henry actually met, but Henry did give Shawn a funny shoutout on Instagram.

Henry posted a cute photo he took with the fans outside his hotel and captioned it, "As I'm sure you may know by now, I am in Sao Paulo, buuuuuut I just wanted to give a big shout out and a thank you to the fans in Buenos Aires! It was so wonderful to meet, see and hear you all! A thank you to Shawn Mendes as well, pretty sure I borrowed some of your fans outside the hotel! Argentina, I will be back! Most definitely, I will be back. #TheWitcher #BuenosAires #Argentina." A Shawn Mendes sign is visible in the background, but there's no doubt that the fans were loving Henry's appearance, too.

Shawn has yet to respond to the photo, but it's likely he didn't mind Henry borrowing his fans for a quick minute.

Shawn's concert in Buenos Aires was the 97th show on his tour and he commemorated it with a tweet sending love to his Argentinian fans.

Henry's show, The Witcher, will premiere on Netflix on December 20th. In it, he plays a monster hunter who has just as much of a hard time dealing with people as the beasts he slays. Netflix has already announced that the show will have a second season, so get to know Shawn's new bestie.
