Actor Kirk Cameron Leads Protest Against California Coronavirus Restrictions

Actor Kirk Cameron led a crowd of carolers in Thousand Oaks as they protested California’s coronavirus restrictions on Tuesday, December 22, local media reported.

Local reports said more than 150 people — many not wearing masks — gathered outside of the Oaks Mall on Tuesday night to sing Christmas carols and protest stay-at-home orders.

The demonstration was held in response to a regional stay-at-home order that affected numerous counties in Southern California. The order, set to end on December 28, would “likely” be extended, California Gov Gavin Newsom said.

Public gatherings of any size are currently prohibited under Ventura County’s stay-at-home order.
