“Harry Potter” actor Tom Felton was carted off the golf course Thursday after apparently collapsing during a practice round for a celebrity tournament preceding the Ryder Cup in Wisconsin.

He had just reached the 18th hole of the Whistling Straits course in Haven, Wis., on Thursday when he suffered an apparent medical event, reported the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. He was immediately surrounded by bystanders who lifted him by the arms and gave him medical attention.

Then he was loaded onto a golf cart and driven away, lying down.

The Surrey, England–born actor, who turned 34 on Wednesday, is best known as Harry Potter’s nemesis, Draco Malfoy.

He was competing with the Europe team in the celebrity showcase, the Journal Sentinel said. He was playing with former NHL star Teemu Selanne, 1980 U.S. Olympic Hockey captain Mike Eurzione and Olympic speed skater Dan Jansen, according to Golf Digest.

Spectators applauded in support as Felton departed. There was no word late Thursday afternoon on his condition.
