May 30—LENOIR — Country music artist Adam Church will be lighting up the field with an acoustic performance at the M.S. Deal Stadium on Saturday, June 11 at 7 p.m.

"June 11! Granite Falls, NC! Playing at M.S Deal Stadium! My old Post 29 Legion stomping ground! Can't wait," wrote Church on his Facebook page.

The performance is a fundraiser for American Legion Post 29 Caldwell Baseball Team. Church played hometown ball as a catcher for the team. The local band Rustic will open the show.

Church has performed alongside Luke Combs and was featured in Comb's music video "Doin' This." Church released "Goin' Back to Carolina" last September. His success continues to gain momentum as he tours the local and national country music circuit. His band is set to perform in Showbox SoDo in Seattle, Washington during Luke Combs' Bootleggers Pre-Party and to open for Chris Cagle in July.
