Adam Sandler has added a new run of arena shows to his 2023 Adam Sandler Live stand-up tour, and they include a stop in Buffalo.

The comedian and actor will perform at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, April 16, at KeyBank Center, which has a concert capacity of 19,200.

A Live Nation ticket presale started Thursday. General ticket sales start at 10 a.m. Friday at Ticketmaster.com.

Sandler was supposed to have played Buffalo as part of a 2020 tour, but it was called off because of the coronavirus pandemic.

On Twitter, he vowed to reschedule the dates “once things are back to normal.”

The new arena show dates were booked after the first leg of his tour completely sold out.

Sandler, who rose to fame on “Saturday Night Live,” will become the 24th recipient of the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor at Washington, D.C.’s Kennedy Center Concert Hall on March 19.

Known for a long line of hit comedies including “Happy Gilmore,” “Billy Madison” and “The Wedding Singer,” he won critical acclaim and a 2020 Independent Spirit Award for his portrayal of a gambling-addicted jeweler in the high-tension drama “Uncut Gems.”

He stars next in the Netflix feature “Murder Mystery 2” with Jennifer Aniston, a comedy about two private eyes who while trying to launch their own agency get swept up in an abduction investigation overseas.
