Addison opens 2022-23 season with girls basketball victory

The lid was lifted on the 2022-23 Lenawee County girls basketball season Monday and the Addison Panthers picked up the win.

Addison dominated Battle Creek Academy, 50-19, to win its season opener. The Panthers jumped out to a 15-2 lead after the first quarter and never looked back.

Taylor Jzerski scored seven first quarter points to get Addison going. Laci Patterson and Molly Brown led the Panthers in scoring.

Top performers

Laci Patterson (Addison) scored 13 points.

Molly Brown (Addison) scored 10 points.

What the coach said

Jeffrey Bannon: “This was a total team effort. We played well in transition and Taylor and Molly controlled the tempo of the game.”
