In his filing, Simon also agrees that all financial issues, regarding the couple's breakup, can be handled in "private mediation."

As we reported, Adele and her estranged husband did not have a prenup, and splitting up a $180 million dollar fortune will be quite the undertaking.

In Hollywood, custody negotiations usually land the stars back in a courtroom, but this time it appears they are agreeing to split the custody 50/50.

As The Blast first reported, Adele filed asking the court for joint custody to be shared with Simon.

In the request, the singer is also seeking joint physical and legal custody. The "Hello" singer filed for divorce last week after announcing a split from her husband months before.

Her filing also revealed the singer is willing to settle up on finances in mediation and not be forced to drag out the discussions in public. Simon has just agreed to the same sentiment.

When the split was first announced, and Adele was photographed without her wedding ring, her rep issued a statement that, "Adele and her partner have separated. They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy."
