Edmond Animal Welfare Shelter: Due to illness, there are limited amounts of animals available. If you visited a shelter closed due to illness prior to it closing, please wait two weeks before you visit. Hours are 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. weekdays, and noon to 4:30 p.m. Saturdays. Carrots is an 11-month-old, 44-pound pit bull terrier mix with a sweet and happy personality. He would like to be your best friend and keep you company on walks or runs. He enjoys car rides and squeaky toys. Carrots is treat-motivated and learns quickly when there is a food reward. He is with a foster family and is in good health and available for adoption.
