Adopt A Pet From Portsmouth Area Shelters: See The Latest Dogs, Cats
Looking to add to your family and do something good for the world at the same time? Perhaps it's time to adopt a pet! Amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, shelters in and around Portsmouth have dogs, cats and other kinds of pets ready and waiting for someone to take them home.
There are thousands of dogs, cats and other animals of all ages and sizes without a home in New Hampshire — and many of them are located near you. In the search for your new fur child, consider starting at a local adoption center like Safe Tails Animal Rescue, where Funny the rabbit is waiting patiently. If you aren't sure if you have time to take care of a pet year round, many shelters also offer opportunities to foster pets until they are placed in appropriate homes.
