  1. San Diego Humane Society is partnering with 103.7 KSON to get 100 animals adopted. In honor of what would have been Betty White's 100th birthday, adoption fees for all adult animals will be waived.   2. San Diego County reported record cases of COVID-19, including 12,563 new cases reported for Sunday, 17,507 for Saturday and 19,009 for Friday. The County suggests that residents get vaccines, or boosters if appropriate, and wear masks to prevent the spread of the virus. If you think you have COVID-19, you should quarantine for five days, then test to be sure you are negative for the virus. Do not go to the hospital unless your symptoms are severe.
