Adrian College women's wrestling wins Albion Invite
ALBION — The Adrian College women's wrestling team got five individuals in the finals with one winning a title as the Bulldogs won the Albion Invite Sunday.
Adrian posted a team score of 90.5 to edge out East Stroudsburg by a point while Northern Michigan took third (75) and Siena Heights took fourth (67.5).
Clarissa Agostini won the 143 pound title as the freshman from Cambridge, Ontario Canada went 3-0. Adrian High School graduate Kayley Rada (170), Megan Vondrasek (155), Taylor Cutler (143) and Angela LoRusso (116) all made it to the final as well, but all took losses in the championships.
The Saints got two in the finals with Mia Delgado (191) winning the championship by going 2-0 while Chelsea Horsley (109) made it to the championships, but came up short.
The SHU men's team took 15th with 10 points, but didn't have any placers.
