Adult, child injured after chase ends in crash in Dayton

Two people were injured after a chase ended with a crash in Dayton Tuesday evening.

Around 7:10 p.m. Dayton medics were called to a crash at the intersection of Forest Grove Avenue and Philadelphia Drive to reports of a crash, according to Montgomery County regional dispatch.

Dispatchers said that one person was taken to Kettering Health Dayton and another to Dayton Children’s Hospital.

Dispatch notes indicate that the car had “taken off” from officers prior to the crash.

Information was not available about what the car was running from.

Videos from the scene show a car with front end damage into a pole.
