After 50 years in the of rock and roll business, Aerosmith is peacing out.

The four-time Grammy award-winning band is bringing its Peace Out Farewell Tour to Amalie Arena at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11. The Black Crowes will open the show.

Drummer Joey Kramer will not be joining the rest of the band on the tour.

“While Joey Kramer remains a beloved founding member of Aerosmith, he has regrettably made the decision to sit out the currently scheduled touring dates to focus his full attention on his family and health,” the band shared in a news release from Live Nation. “Joey’s unmistakable and legendary presence behind the drum kit will be sorely missed.”

Aerosmith is embarking on this farewell tour after a long, successful run. The band has sold more than 150 million albums around the world and has earned a place in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

“It’s not goodbye, it’s PEACE OUT!” said Aerosmith members Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Tom Hamilton and Brad Whitford in the release. “Get ready and walk this way, you’re going to get the best show of our lives.”
