AEW has announced a new, live, two-hour Saturday night show on TNT, titled AEW: Collision.

The announcement was made during the Warner Bros. upfronts today (May 17), with Collision set to debut on June 17 in the 8-10pm ET timeslot.

According to the official press release, Collision will feature talent including Miro, Samoa Joe, Thunder Rosa, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Andrade El Idolo, who are all featured on the show's debut poster.

Longtime wrestling fans will also notice that the red and yellow Collision logo is very reminiscent of WCW Monday Nitro which ran on TNT from 1995 to 2001.

AEW CEO Tony Khan said of the announcement: "With the addition of AEW: Collision on TNT, I’m extremely proud that a Turner network will be the home of Saturday night wrestling for the first time in more than two decades.

"The debut of Collision is significant across numerous sectors including television, wrestling, entertainment and sports, and reinforces AEW as the bold property we envisioned when we launched in 2019.

"Collision will deliver live every Saturday night more of what fans and viewers tell us they want – athleticism, big personalities, exciting storylines and hard-hitting wrestling action, all of which have become synonymous with AEW."

It's been reported that CM Punk is set to return to the company for Collision's debut at Chicago's United Center, however he was not mentioned in the press release or featured on the show's poster.

The show is expected to bring about a WWE-style 'brand split' in AEW and it's notable that the poster includes known allies of Punk, FTR, as well as Samoa Joe, who he's been reportedly pushing to work with.

Also featured are Thunder Rosa and Miro, who made their return to AEW on last week's Dynamite and Andrade who has not wrestled since September 2022.

Over on Twitter, Khan promised that he'd have more info to share about Collision during tonight's AEW Dynamite, which comes live from Austin, Texas.

There's no word yet on how UK fans will be able to watch Collision but AEW Dynamite airs live in the UK on Fite and on delay on ITV4.

Catch AEW Dynamite live every Thursday at 1am in the UK and Rampage every Saturday at 3am on FITE with an AEW Plus subscription. US customers can also watch Dynamite on TBS and Rampage on TNT, and in the UK, Dynamite repeats air on ITV4.
