After Britney: Justin Timberlake’s 11-year marriage, new movie and what he’s up to now?

Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears’s relationship was one of the romances that defined the noughties in the world of showbiz.

Having met on The Mickey Mouse Club, the pair both embodied all that was fun and fresh about pop and as far as fans were concerned it was a match made in heaven when they got together in 2000.

However, the path of true love didn’t run smooth and in 2002 the pair went their separate ways.

Spears is now unveiling her new book The Woman In Me and it is bringing a lot of attention to their love history once again.

It has now been more than 20 years since they split, so we have a look at what Timberlake is up to now.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel's marriage

Timberlake started stepping out with actor Jessica Biel in 2007 and they tied the knot in 2012 in a gorgeous ceremony in Italy.

The couple welcomed son Silas in 2015 and had second son Phineas in 2020.

The stars don’t tend to put their relationship in the public eye but every now and then they do post about each on social media.

On Biel’s birthday earlier this year, Timberlake wrote on Instagram that she was "the most badass, most graceful, most gorgeous DREAM of a partner I could have ever wished for."

"I’m so glad you were born, my love," he said.

"And, I’m so lucky that you are choosing to do this thing called life with me."

Movie success

Timberlake, 42, has been working steadily in movies, with films such as Palmer and Wonder Wheel among his more recent projects.

He also voices the character Branch in the new Trolls film, Trolls Band Together, which is sure to be a half-term hit.

Showing his range, the actor also has a role in new crime thriller Reptile, which also stars Benicio Del Toro and Alicia Silverstone.

Music career

The singer’s music career is going strong, and in September he released the track Keep Going Up, a song he recorded with Timbaland and Nelly Furtado.

He is also still making music with NSYNC, the group that propelled him to fame.

They recently unveiled the song Better Place, which is the lead single from the Trolls Band Together film.
