Afternoon Briefing: Four people shot, one killed in Park Forest home
Good afternoon, Chicago.
Four people were shot, one fatally, early this morning during a gathering at a home in the 100 block of Fir Street in Park Forest, police said. One person was pronounced dead at the scene and two others were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds after the shooting at about 3:30 a.m., police said.
And Highland Park police say they arrested a Mundelein man in connection with a reported trespass this week at the former residence of Chicago Bulls star Michael Jordan. The house has been for sale more than 10 years, and was listed initially at $29 million, but the price has dropped by more than half since then.
