Afternoon Briefing: Person critically injured in extra-alarm Hyde Park fire

Good afternoon, Chicago.

An overnight extra-alarm fire at a Hyde Park apartment building left one resident in critical condition. More than 250 firefighters responded to the fire at 5130 S. Kenwood Ave. that neighbors said started around 3 a.m.
