It’s official: Chicago’s air quality is the worst in the world today.

Thick smoke from Canadian wildfires coated the city and the surrounding areas with haze as weather officials issued an air quality alert for parts of the Great Lakes, Lower Mississippi and Ohio valleys this morning. Search the map to see air quality levels near you.
