AG Griffin, 13 legislators endorse Bryan Sexton for Prosecuting Attorney

BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin and 13 state legislators have endorsed Chief Deputy Prosecutor Bryan Sexton in his campaign for Prosecuting Attorney, according to a news release.

“Bryan Sexton has my full support to be the next Prosecuting Attorney for Benton County,” said Attorney General Griffin. “There’s no question he has the best experience and track record to do the job. Benton County continues to grow rapidly, and we need strong law enforcement to keep crime under control.”

The 13 state legislators that represent Benton County in different districts, endorsing Sexton were:

  • Sen. Bart Hester (District 33)

“It’s an honor to receive the endorsement of Attorney General Griffin and our fantastic state representatives and senators,” said Sexton. “These elected leaders understand the importance of this position, and they recognize that I am ready to do the job on day one.”

Sexton has been with the Benton County Prosecuting Officer since 2006.

The election will be on March 5 with early voting starting on Feb. 20.
