With age comes knowledge, Biden best suited for president
What people don't understand is that yes, Joe Biden is old. But with age comes a lot of knowledge. There is no other person in the U.S. that has the experience, knowledge, and ability to be the president of the United States.
Biden has about 40 years in the Senate, eight years as vice president, and almost four years as the actual president. There is no one else with that experience. He is also an honest man; perfect he is not. But no one is perfect. He stutters sometimes, but most people don't know that he stuttered when he was a boy. He also trips. I am 91 years old, and I have tripped all my life. As a young girl and as an older person. Some of us are trippers. And what happened to reverence and respect for our elders?

The DA’s office can do better
Recently, a news report on one of the local stations reported that an allegation had been made where an assistant district attorney left the scene of an accident, leaving the other party before police arrived. As is common, internet sleuths caught up with him. The allegation is that the ADA simply flashed credentials of some sort and sped off. This is a crime. It is a Class A or Class B misdemeanor. If true, the allegations are concerning for two reasons. One, evidently the ADA believes he is privileged and entitled and that the law does not apply to him. Remember, he's a prosecutor. Two, and I'm not sure which is worse, he does not know it is a crime to leave the scene of an accident. Any other citizen would be held to account, including clerical employees at the DA's office. The question is, if the allegations are true, will he?Either way, the DA's Office can do better.

It’s 2024, no need for old school bad habits
Since the temperatures are cooler in El Paso during the winter months, there are still people out there who "warm up" their car engines — while sitting inside having their coffee, getting ready to go to work or run errands, and their car is in the parking lot, nobody in there, huffing and puffing away fumes out of the muffler.
This is 2024 — no need to do that! Don't we have enough air pollution here in El Paso, plus the smog that hovers over Juárez and crosses the border every day? Clean air, that's what we wish for all of us. No need to keep up bad habits from the 60s and 70s.
