Eugene City Council

To attend: Council meetings are held in the Mary Spilde Center at 101 W. 10th Ave. The regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. Monday has an opportunity for in-person attendance.
To comment: When there's a public forum or public hearing, there will be an option to join the meeting for those not attending in person. People who call in also can comment. There are instructions given for speaking during the meeting.
WORK SESSION
When: 5:30 p.m. Monday
What: Councilors will discuss the city's downtown urban renewal district.

REGULAR MEETING
When: 7:30 p.m. Monday
What: After opening the meeting, councilors will report on committee actions and other items of interest.
They'll then consider a consent calendar before holding a public forum.
Councilors also will consider a second consent calendar with an annexation and an initiation of flood plain regulation updates.
The council will make appointments to board, commissions and committees and vote on changes to rules regulating electric bikes and similar devices in the Whilamut Natural Area.

WORK SESSION
When: Noon Wednesday
What: Councilors will discuss next steps for permanently filling the police auditor position.
They'll also get an update on an upcoming community survey to help inform priority-based budgeting and strategic planning efforts.

Springfield City Council

WORK SESSION
When: 5:30 p.m. Monday
What: Councilors will review state standards for construction, which staff is recommending the city adopt as standard construction specifications.
They'll also hold the second of four work sessions on the Main Street Facility Plan.

SPRINGFIELD ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AGENCY BOARD
The board comprises Springfield City Council, the city's mayor and the Springfield representative on the Lane County Board of Commissioners
What: 7 p.m. Monday
When: Board members will vote on a consent calendar that contains minutes and a resolution that would authorize the city manager to award contracts exceeding $100,000 during the summer recess.
They'll then listen and respond to general public comment.
The board also will hold two public hearings − one on a supplemental budget for the current fiscal year and the other on the budget for the upcoming fiscal year, which starts July 1.
Board members then will get an update on a project to redevelop the parking lot by the former downtown Buick into a mixed-use building.

Lane County Board of Commissioners
To watch: County meetings stream at bit.ly/LaneCounty-meetings.
To attend: Board of Commissioner meetings begin at 9 a.m. in Harris Hall, located at 125 E 8th Ave., unless otherwise noted. Doors to Harris Hall open at 8:45 a.m.
To comment: When there's a chance to comment, people must register for the meeting to do so virtually. After registering, people will get information for how to attend.
Those who go to the meeting in person should sign up on the sign-in sheet located by the entry door.
There will be instructions during the meeting for speaking during public hearings and making public comment.
People also can email diana.jones@lanecountyor.gov with public comment by noon Monday. The subject line should include "PUBLIC COMMENT FOR MEETING DATE 06/14/2022."
MORNING SESSION
When: 9 a.m. Tuesday
What: Commissioners will hold two public hearings − one on a supplemental budget for the current fiscal and the other on the budget proposal for the fiscal year that begins July 1.
The board also will listen and respond to general public comment.
Commissioners then will convene jointly as the board of public health and board of commissioners to get an update on response and recovery efforts related to the coronavirus pandemic.
They'll then reconvene solely as the board of commissioners to consider a consent calendar that includes an insurance renewal, a list of public improvement projects and routine contracts.
Commissioners also will review a letter of support that will appear in the introductory section of the Lane County Equity Lens Toolkit.

MORNING SESSION
When: 9 a.m. Wednesday
What: After executive sessions, commissioners will hold a public hearing on and then consider an order that would approve a design-build process for the proposed multi-use community facility at the Lane Events Center. If commissioners approve the move, the county would solicit quotes from qualified vendors.

AFTERNOON SESSION
When: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday
What: Commissioners will consider a three-year contract with WellPath for medical, dental and mental health services at the jail.
They'll also consider changes to the fee schedule for the land management division and discuss recruiting for the county counsel position.
