Agreement reached between two more Las Vegas properties and Culinary Union

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Two more Las Vegas resorts have come to a tentative agreement with the Culinary Union, according to a Saturday news release.

Fremont Hotel & Casino and Main Street Station Casino, Brewery & Hotel have reached a tentative agreement on a 5-year contract overnight, Culinary Union officials said.

The agreement would bring the number of outlying resorts that have not come to an agreement to 3. Virgin Las Vegas, Downtown Grand, and Golden Nugget have yet to come to terms with the Culinary Union.

Union members are expected to picket at two Las Vegas properties on Saturday as the countdown to a potential strike continues. Hundreds of thousands are expected next week for events celebrating Super Bowl LVIII, the first time the game has come to Las Vegas.
