Ahead of Week 10, here's how Ohio's computer poll projects high school football postseason

There is one more weekend of regular-season football games in Ohio with some teams trying to find a spot among the 16 allowed in each region per division.

Some Cincinnati teams have clinched home games, while others have clinched spots. Some teams need wins Friday or Saturday to play another week. Some teams' seasons automatically will end this weekend.

Here's a rundown of all of the above including potential first-round matchups. The information was released by the OHSAA Tuesday with computations done by JoeEitel.com.

Moeller's Mark Elder has led his team to the current top seed in Division I, Region 4.
Moeller's Mark Elder has led his team to the current top seed in Division I, Region 4.

Division I

Who has clinched a home playoff game?: Moeller, Elder, Lakota West, Princeton, Milford, Mason and Fairfield.

Which teams have clinched a playoff spot?: All of the above plus St. Xavier, Western Hills, Colerain and West Clermont.

Intriguing possible matchups: First off, Lakota East and Hamilton are playing for the No. 16 seed this week. The Thunderhawks are at Fairfield, while the Big Blue hosts Sycamore. Possible playoff matchups of note would be Elder as the No. 2 seed taking on No. 15 seed Oak Hills with many of the players coming from the same neighborhood. The 8-9 matchups are usually interesting and should this play out, No. 8 seed Fairfield would host No. 9 seed St. Xavier, a team whose record could be deceiving based on their strength of schedule.

Who has been mathematically eliminated?: Sycamore and Walnut Hills.

Region 4 - 1. Moeller (8-1) 32.2924, 2. Elder (7-2) 30.39, 3. Lakota West (9-0) 29.7, 4. Princeton (8-1) 23.0222, 5. Springboro (6-3) 22.7626, 6. Milford (7-2) 20.9833, 7. Mason (7-2) 19.2556, 8.
