Here are four of the top stories today in San Diego:

  1. Next month, rental assistance will be ending, and that means that evictions will follow. Property owners will be able to file eviction notices for those who have not paid rent due to COVID-19.   2. This weekend you can attend a free San Diego Symphony performance at one of three locations in Clairemont, Banker’s Hill, and Coronado. Performances will be held in both daytime and evening and are suitable for the entire family. The program features five fun works by a cast of composers. Come and enjoy!   3. Want a pet to love? Now there are many pets up for adoption in San Diego. About 6.5 million animals are brought to adoption centers each year. Only half are adopted.
