Aid Organization Delivers Food to Stranded Residents Following Cyclone Idai

Aid organizations and air force units rescued trapped people and distributed aid in Mozambique following a cyclone that left an estimated 400,000 homeless in central Mozambique.

The World Food Programme (WFP) said it provided food and other assistance to 20,000 people affected by Cyclone Idai. The UN Humanitarian Response Depot said it had sent 200,000 rations of high-energy biscuits to Mozambique.
