PRINCE GEORGE — During NBC's America's Got Talent: All-Stars episode last night, 18-year-old Aidan Bryant, a Prince George native, earned enough votes from Superfans to advance to the finale which is scheduled for Monday, February 20.

Bryant's audition, an aerial acrobatics routine without a net, was riveting and looked mighty dangerous. The self-taught aerialist was not wearing any type of harness while soaring 25-30 feet in the air using what he refers to as his new toy, an aerial triangle.

"I’m so excited he gets another chance at winning. He has grown so much as a performer. I can definitely say he is a professional aerialist now," Bryant's mother Pam Bennett said. "His performance tonight was absolutely amazing. I can’t wait to see him in the Finals."

How does AGT: All-Stars work?

Sixty contestants from around the world, previous winners, runners-up, finalists and fan favorites from the AGT series and its international spin-offs compete in Los Angeles, Calif. for the ultimate title.

According to an NBC press release, each week 10 new acts perform hoping to make it to the Final. Only one act will advance each week thanks to the AGT Superfan vote, a group of loyal AGT viewers selected by NBC from all 50 states. Results will be revealed during the episode.

Five Golden Buzzers are up for grabs which automatically advance the selected act to the Final. Returning Judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum each have one Golden Buzzer to give away and Host Terry Crews also awards one. The fifth one is known as the coveted Group Golden Buzzer.

After the final performances, Superfans will vote again on the 11 finalists to choose the winner which will be revealed in the two-hour finale.
