Aiken Newcomers' Club holds annual spring fashion show

Mar. 16—A group of Aiken women got a firsthand look at what fashions will be in style this year Tuesday morning as the Aiken Newcomers' Club hosted its annual charity spring fashion show at Newberry Hall.

Program Coordinator Carol Wood said the show is used to raise funds for the group's charitable endeavors. She said the group normally charges $20 per meal but increased the charge to $30 for the fashion show to raise funds.

Models included Sally Alexander, Carol Axner, Serina Dismuke, Kim Frazier, Gaye Reck and Melanie Younger.

Lisa McCollum, Dillard's fashion coordinator, hosted the show.

The fashions shown were from Dillard's.

Aloha Aesthetics, Dillard's, Floyd and Green, Jewelry by Kay, Malia's, Lisa McCollum and White Rose Eclectics provided door prizes.
