Aiken's Choice celebration set for June 28

May 28—The 2022 Aiken's Choice winners will be honored at a celebration on Tuesday, June 28.

After the votes in the 175+ categories have been counted, the winners and finalists will be announced in the Aiken Standard on June 28, and a celebration honoring the favorite businesses that have been voted on by the community will take place from 6-9 p.m. at Newberry Hall in Aiken.

The celebration of the winners will include food and drinks, and the winners will receive a framed certificate, said Diane Daniell, the advertising operations manager manager for the Aiken Standard.

"Aiken's Choice is a celebration of Aiken's favorite local businesses and more," Daniell said. "In addition to celebrating local businesses, the event is also an opportunity for area business owners to network with one another and the community."

Tickets for the event are $25 and can be purchased online at https://tickets.aikenstandard.com/e/aikens-choice-2022/tickets or in certain businesses starting June 1, including Lionel Smith, Unique Expressions, Return Engagement and Vikki's Boutique, Daniell said.

Daniell said online tickets can be purchased now.
