Air defense downs all four Shahed drones approaching from north during Russian night attack on Ukraine
“The enemy attacked Ukraine from the northern direction with Shahed-type attack drones. All four kamikaze UAVs were destroyed by air defense forces and equipment,” they said.

Yuriy Ihnat, the Air Force spokesman, specified on Ukraine’s national television that all enemy objects were shot down by the Center Air Command.
“It's hard to say what the target was, but four out of four Shaheds were destroyed by the forces of the Center Air Command. We have a 100 percent result,” Ihnat said.
On the night of March 1, Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with Iranian kamikaze drones. The explosions occurred, in particular in the city of Kremenchuk, Poltava Oblast.

Dmytro Lunin, head of the Poltava Oblast Military Administration (OVA), reported that up to five Shaheds were shot down over the region.
Before that, the Russians attacked Ukraine with Iranian Shahed drones on the night of Feb. 27. The General Staff reported the destruction of 11 out of 14 drones launched by the invaders. The enemy also shelled Zaporizhzhya, Myrnohrad in Donetsk Oblast, and Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
In the city of Khmelnytsky, the invaders hit rescuers who were at an earlier drone impact site — two died, and three were hospitalized with injuries.
