Air Quality Becomes 'Hazardous' as Beijing Hit by Worst Sandstorm in a Decade
Skies turned yellow and visibility was reduced after China’s capital Beijing was hit by a dust storm, on March 15.
The country’s weather bureau reported the dust storm was the worst to hit China’s north in 10 years. Visibility was less than 500 metres in much of the region.
