Airlines waive change fees for travel through Denver ahead of snowstorm

Major airlines are waiving flight change fees ahead of a snowstorm expected to bring a foot or more of snow to Colorado on Tuesday.

That means travelers booked for Tuesday flights through the Denver International Airport can try to get to their destinations early or choose to depart at a later date without a fee.

Here are some airlines offering fee waivers:

American: Your change fee may be waived if you bought your ticket by Nov. 24, are scheduled to travel Nov. 26, can travel Nov. 24-29, don't change your origin or destination city and rebook in the same cabin or pay the difference. https://www.aa.com/i18n/travel-info/travel-alerts.jsp?locale=es_ES&stop_mobi=yes

Delta: For travelers scheduled to fly Nov. 26. New tickets must be issued on or before Nov. 29 for travel on or before Nov. 29. https://www.delta.com/us/en/advisories/weather-alerts/denver-weather

Frontier: Customers with tickets for Nov. 26 may make one itinerary change. Travel must be completed by Dec. 18. Origin and destination cities may be changed. Customers whose flights are canceled may request a refund. https://www.flyfrontier.com/alert/?mobile=true
